What is Clear Skye?
Clear Skye is an innovative provider of Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) solutions, fully built on the ServiceNow platform. Unlike traditional IAM products, Clear Skye takes a completely new approach: identity management natively within ServiceNow. The result is a fully integrated solution that unifies ITSM, workflows, service requests, and identity processes on a single platform – with no extra middleware, no interface sprawl, and full transparency.

The Clear Skye Software
Clear Skye’s IGA solution is purpose-built for native use within ServiceNow. That means all identity-related processes – from user provisioning and role management to recertifications – are part of the existing ServiceNow logic. No separate server, external database, or third-party workflow engine is required.

Use Cases
Clear Skye takes a platform-based approach that fundamentally differs from classic IGA products. Instead of introducing a parallel IAM ecosystem, identity governance is executed where most processes already occur – in ServiceNow.
The key advantage: organizations build on existing investments and established structures rather than implementing a separate IAM system. Integration is native – identities, roles, processes, tickets, and approvals are all managed in the same system already used for ITSM, HR, SecOps, or compliance.
In practice, this means access requests are handled via the familiar service catalog, approvals flow through ServiceNow’s Flow Designer, recertifications run as tasks in established workflows, and audit data is readily available via ServiceNow reporting. Onboarding and offboarding of employees can also be automated via existing HR or IT processes – without new interfaces or media disruptions.
The result is a true one-stop shop for all identity needs – centralized, user-friendly, and efficient. At the same time, IT benefits from reduced integration and operational effort: role models, process ownership, and security policies can be governed consistently across a single platform.

Licensing Model
Clear Skye is licensed as an add-on to ServiceNow. Costs are based on the number of managed identities and the chosen functionality (e.g., lifecycle, access reviews, analytics). Technically, Clear Skye uses scoped apps that are delivered and managed through the ServiceNow Store.
Important: A valid ServiceNow license (at least ITSM Professional or Enterprise) is required to use Clear Skye.
