The new target Idea Management Release SVP 9 is now available

In May 2020, we released the new SVP 9 release of our on-premise software target Idea Management.

The new release enables consistent mapping with user-friendly apps in the SAP Fiori 2.0 design. SAP Fiori 2.0 is an award-winning design concept that has become the standard and is now the leading user interface for business applications. The apps are simple, role-based and provide a coherent user experience across all devices (desktop, tablet and smartphone). It's simply fun to submit ideas with the apps and get involved in idea management.

The completely newly developed landing page offers an attractive introduction to idea management. This page helps every user to find their way around quickly.

The core of the landing page are the role-specific idea overviews, e.g. the ideas submitted by the user, the reviews to be completed, the ideas to be implemented, etc.

The landing page also offers information and news that idea managers can post. There are many ways to find out about ideas and contacts as well as graphic representations of important key figures of the company.

The new release greatly expands the possibilities for use via an internal cloud (web server in your own data center) or public cloud (e.g. SAP Cloud Platform). Ideas, employees, organizational and even configuration data are synchronized with the on-premise solution. This means that users can participate in idea management via modern interfaces, even if the SAP system does not provide the facilities to do so, for example, due to a lack of SAP upgrades.

The new release contains significant improvements for employees who were previously unable to participate digitally in idea management, or only to a limited extent. By implementing a dedicated user database for idea management, all employees can now submit ideas directly via Fiori apps, if desired even via their own smartphone.
