Focus on Switzerland: In conversation with Aida

Starting today, we will be introducing some of our Swiss colleagues in our blog articles. First up is Aida, Customer Relationship Manager in the Winterthur team. In this interview, she tells us how she came to catworkx, what tasks and challenges she faces every day – and what makes her job so exciting.

⇒ How I came to catworkx:

I became aware of the position at catworkx while searching for new career opportunities. The job advertisement caught my attention because I already had experience with Atlassian products.

After submitting my application, I first had interviews with the German team at catworkx. Shortly afterwards, I was in contact with the Swiss team. That convinced me – both the corporate culture and the opportunities at catworkx. From then on, the selection process went quite quickly and three years later, I am still here – and happy to be here. 😃

⇒ This is my job:

In my role as Customer Relationship Manager, I focus on service support and service development. This includes supporting existing customers and conducting requirements analyses.

Working closely with our experts, I plan the next steps, including requirements workshops, to optimise our customers' business processes and offer tailor-made solutions. I am also responsible for providing ongoing support to our customers and maintaining our business relationships.

⇒ What I love about my job:

The best thing about my job? Definitely my fantastic team at catworkx Switzerland! I really appreciate my managers and the entire team. Their trust and support have had a huge impact on my professional development.

What also means a lot to me is the remarkable flexibility that catworkx offers me. Thanks to my two bosses, I have been able to find the perfect balance between work and family. Especially in the first years of my son's life, it was important to me to spend time with him despite my professional commitments and to enjoy these moments to the fullest.

The fact that I can do my job and share precious moments with my child at the same time is something I value incredibly and what makes my job at catworkx so special.

I also love the fact that catworkx has an open corporate culture that encourages creative ideas and innovative approaches. This has given me the opportunity to act independently and explore new avenues.

⇒ What I do best:

My particular strength lies in quickly recognising and understanding people and their individual needs. I have developed the ability to approach people, listen empathically and find out what is really important to them. This enables me to offer the right solutions and build close relationships with customers.

⇒ What I really enjoy:

What I particularly enjoy about my job is the great team dynamic at catworkx. Every day is a new opportunity to work with my colleagues and learn from each other. The energy and creativity that our team exudes is simply contagious!

But that's not all! The flexibility that catworkx offers me makes work even more enjoyable and motivates me every day. I love that we have the freedom to organise our work in a way that suits our lives. The opportunity to work on different projects and adapt my way of working brings variety and fun to my everyday working life. At catworkx, work is not just a duty, but an exciting journey that I enjoy together with my team.

⇒ What I am proud of:

I am proud that I have successfully completed customer projects through creative solutions and hard work. I also appreciate the recognition I receive from my managers and am proud of the great team I work in and the successes we achieve together. At the same time, I am proud of balancing family and work. This is a big challenge that many parents face.

⇒ What I would like to do next...

There is still so much I would like to do in this job and in my life in general. I look forward to continuing to grow and learn new skills. In my job at catworkx, I would like to continue taking on exciting projects and be part of developing innovative solutions that inspire our customers.

Outside of work, I want to continue enjoying time with my family and friends and going on new adventures. Travel is at the top of my list so I can discover different cultures and places.

In general, I want to maintain a balance between professional success and personal fulfilment. My goal is to continuously learn, grow and take advantage of the many opportunities that life has to offer.
